Worked with the Census Bureau to understand reasons why Latinos, African Americans, and Asian immigrants have lower participation rates in the census data collection process; identified motivators and messages to increase their participation |

Adapted consumer materials on aging, mental health, and substance abuse for people whose preferred language is not English; languages included Chinese, Korean, Navajo, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese |

Worked with the newest immigrant populations of indigenous Indians from Mexico and Central America; for the Monterey First Five Commission, conducted focus groups with immigrant Triqui- and Mixteco-speaking parents about the program’s effect on their preschool children |

Developed and implemented a technical assistance and training curriculum and materials in communities and with educational institutions in Eastern Europe and Latin America |
