JBS announces the appointments of four new Vice Presidents

Silver Spring, MD (June 21, 2006)—JBS International, Inc. (www.jbsinternational.com), a management services consulting firm headquartered in Silver Spring, Maryland, proudly announces the appointments of four new Vice Presidents: Susan Gabbard, PhD, Susan Hayashi, PhD, Roger Rasnake, PhD, and Cynthia Currin. “We have grown significantly over the past year, reaching milestones of $40 million in revenue and 300 employees,” said Gail Bassin, JBS Board Chairman. “Adding these four highly skilled, seasoned managers to our leadership team will help us expand our business base and strengthen our competitive edge as we move into new markets both within the U.S. and abroad.”

  • Dr. Gabbard (Aguirre Division, San Francisco) has more than 20 years experience conducting research and program evaluation studies with special populations. She directs the National Agricultural Worker Survey, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor and is the country’s primary source of farm worker data.
  • Dr. Hayashi (Silver Spring, MD) has more than 15 years experience in public health research including quantitative and qualitative research methods, program evaluation, information dissemination, and national surveys. She directs research and evaluation projects for numerous Federal clients, including the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • Dr. Rasnake (Aguirre Division, Washington, DC) has more than 25 years of experience in international development. He directs numerous research and evaluation projects funded by USAID and other State Department offices in Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Caribbean region.
  • Ms. Currin (San Francisco), with nearly 25 years of experience in Federal contracting, manages the operations of the Aguirre Division of JBS. She oversees contract management and negotiation functions, business development, and personnel.
